ABOUT IMPACTIVE

OUR STORY

Impactive (formerly Outvote) was founded in 2017 to empower grassroots campaigning through scalable technology, allowing volunteers to organize their family, friends, and local communities. We spent a whirlwind three years partnering with progressive organizations and campaigns large and small, working closely with each partner to customize our products for their important work. In 2020, we achieved one of our biggest goals: stabilizing democracy by electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, whose campaign used a white-labeled version of Impactive to register voters and get them to the polls.

In 2021, we rebranded and relaunched Impactive, a fuller suite of products designed to help teams of all shapes and sizes make an impact. Now we’re applying the same principles of political organizing to broader volunteering and outreach efforts (while continuing our electoral work). We’re partnering with nonprofits of all sizes, major international advocacy groups, socially-conscious companies, labor unions, and candidates for school board through Senate to build a better future.

OUR CORE VALUES

IMPACT

We are all here for the same reason: to protect and reinvigorate democracy and civic society. We have lofty goals for the impact we can help our clients create, and each of our team members centers impact in their day-to-day work.

EMPATHY

In each and every interaction with our team and clients, we strive to understand the other’s perspective and refrain from assuming that our experience is the only experience. We listen before we speak and aim to be as responsive as possible to our clients’ unique needs.

INCLUSION

Impactive is committed to diversity and inclusion, both in our client partnerships and within our own team. We firmly believe that a lack of diversity creates harmful blindspots in social impact work, and commit ourselves to celebrating each and every unique perspective and viewpoint.
