10DLC refers to a set of texting regulations enforced by mobile carriers like Verizon and AT&T. With these regulations, political campaigns and organizations sending SMS or MMS messages (via both Peer-to-Peer Texting and Broadcast Texting) must register for 10DLC or face possible fines and blocked messages.
Impactive facilitates the registration process through our messaging vendor, Twilio, for all clients looking to send SMS or MMS texts. All you need to do is fill out and submit Impactive’s registration form with brand information, including business name, address, and type. We’ll do the rest.
10DLC registration timing varies significantly; while many registrations are accepted within a few days, others take up to a few weeks if additional information is requested. You can stay updated on your registration by viewing a status tracker on the peer-to-peer or broadcast pages of the admin dashboard. While your registration is pending, we recommend keeping texting to a minimum to avoid carrier-imposed consequences.
