Webinar Recap

In June, we hosted a webinar focused on navigating the transition to in-person organizing events as communities reach higher vaccination rates. Discussion topics included:

  • Communicating comfort levels of in-person events based on vaccination rates in the region
  • Increasing vaccinations in communities by hosting outdoor activities with a free vaccine clinic
  • Maintaining digital tactics to allow greater accessibility for individuals with disabilities

Read our accompanying guide to learn more about navigating this transition, or watch the recorded portion of our webinar.

Feature Update

A few weeks ago, we expanded our Friends and Family Messaging functionality to allow volunteers to message their contacts in multiple ways. Now, volunteers can reach out to friends and family members through text messages AND emails, phone calls, or social media DMs.

Administrators can designate different scripts for each channel to ensure that volunteers can use the most effective messaging for each type of outreach.

Fair Fight Action’s Hot Call Summer

The team at Fair Fight Action is activating their volunteer network to support the For The People Act (HR1/S1). With voting rights under attack in 48 state legislatures across the country, Fair Fight is mobilizing volunteers to ensure that Congress passes these vital voting rights protections.

Fair Fight Action launched Hot Call Summer, a campaign to encourage supporters to reach out to their Senators about this legislation. To reach their goals, the Fair Fight team is organizing texting parties three times a week to train volunteers on Impactive.

A number of Impactive clients celebrated wins last month. Congratulations to all, including:

  • Kevin Ward: Mayoral election for Hyattsville, Maryland
  • Erik Bottcher: Democratic primary for New York City Council, District 3
  • Hala Ayala: Democratic primary for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia
